Plans for the Future

The Associations hopes in the future to develop income generating outlets in Bamako for the textiles made on the courses; selling drapes and throws, as well as smaller items .

There is now consideration that the Association rent some premises that might be suitable for children to stay over night in a supervised safe environment.

The Assn. sees its work as a valuable project, that may be used as a model elsewhere in the future; developing childrens self-esteem, using traditional art techneques, to help them re-integrate into the culture from which they come.
