2018 got off to a busy start with separate visits from the Mali Development Group (MDG) and two French partner organisations, as well as the launch of the first course of the year with 25 children participating. For the first time some local children were sponsored to attend by the Mayor of Bamako’s Commune 4.
Thanks to support from partners in France the centre will soon have new facilities on the first floor which will be dedicated to work with young mothers. They will be able to learn sewing and other skills while caring for their children.
MDG provided funds for 3 new computers to replace the very old second-hand ones that no longer worked. This will help PAD staff to share news and information and keep their accounts.
